Kimberly Thurston-Brown believes everyone's light is meant to shine no matter how dark times are or have been. She is passionate about empowering others to overcome difficulties, cultivate resilience, and learn to thrive. She has worked in various mental health settings, such as hospitals, clinics, non-profit organizations, and substance abuse treatment facilities. Kimberly is a licensed and ordained minister and also provides faith-based counseling. A primary focus in her work has been trauma and how the disease of addiction affects the entire family system. She is a counselor with life experience who addresses the impact of systemic and cultural issues on overall mental and emotional wellness.
